About Us – School of Creativity: Nurturing Talented Kids into Visionary Designers

Our Mission: Developing the Next Generation of Young Creators

At Aneta Art Classes – School of Creativity in Schaumburg, we develop talented children into confident young creators and designers. Our mission is to nurture the next generation of innovators — the children who will imagine, design, and build the solutions that move our world forward.

We work with talented children because they are the future creators, problem-solvers, and visionaries of our communities. Every student who joins our school learns not only how to create, but how to think like a designer: to plan, to focus, to analyze, to break down complexity, and to bring ideas from concept to completion with confidence and discipline.

Our Creative Philosophy & Three Signature Pillars

Our programs focus on deep, long-term creative transformation.
This transformation is built on our three signature creative pillars:

• Dual-hand fine-motor mastery
• Geometric simplification
• Create-from-scratch design thinking

These pillars give children a structured, powerful framework for developing advanced creative capabilities that support both artistic excellence and lifelong cognitive growth.

Our Educational Legacy & 17-Year Partnerships

For more than 17 years, Aneta Art Classes has partnered with Harper College, a collaboration that has shaped the academic strength and credibility of our programs.

Before establishing our School of Creativity in Schaumburg in the fall of 2020, our programs were selected by some of Chicago’s most prestigious private schools — including Lycée Français de Chicago and Catherine Cook School — as part of their advanced after-school enrichment.

We also served gifted and advanced learners in a selective, high-achievement academy in Downtown Chicago, and reached families across top-performing elementary schools and community districts in the Northwest suburbs.

This long history has built our reputation for depth, structure, and exceptional developmental results.

Why Families Trust Us

Our school has become a trusted destination for families who value mastery, transformation, and meaningful skill development. Many families from Barrington, Inverness, and Chicago’s North Shore continue to follow our programs — whether in person or online — recognizing the profound impact this training has on their children.

What sets us apart is simple:
we don’t offer casual art time — we develop creators.

Our students learn to use both hands with precision, simplify complex forms into clear geometric structures, and build every project from the ground up. These long-term skills strengthen confidence, executive function, focus, independence, and the ability to complete complex tasks — qualities that support success far beyond the creative field.

Where Young Creators Grow

If your child loves to design, build, draw, sew, sculpt, invent, and explore, this is where their talent grows into true creative mastery.
Welcome to the School of Creativity — where the next generation of young creators grows.

Meet the Founder:

Mrs. Aneta Takeva, our founder, is the lead instructor at the Premium Craft and Design Academy.

I believe that what truly shaped me into who I am today is a unique blend of intuition, analytical thinking, and a lifelong immersion in the world of craft and design. Growing up in a family of artisans, I was blessed to understand from an early age how working with both hands unlocks deeper creativity and endless possibilities.

I graduated in Fine Arts, specializing in Mural Painting, which allowed me to merge the finesse of fine art with the practicality of applied crafts.

For me, design and creativity are a leadership and visionary mindset — the kind of thinking used by innovators to solve complex problems and shape the world with intention. And while this mindset can influence many high-level fields, my deepest passion lies in education. I believe the most refined form of design is the ability to shape young minds — to nurture a child’s talent, guide their creative discipline, and help them experience the joy of bringing art and craft together with purpose.

In my journey, I’ve found that this fusion — the precision of fine arts with the hands-on richness of craft — is what makes creativity truly powerful. And that is what I bring to our School of Creativity: a place where young talents grow into confident designers and visionaries.
