Our Design & Sewing classes for kids in Schaumburg are an immersive program for families looking for deeper, long-term creative development. Students learn to think like designers, developing ideas and transforming them into finished projects through hands-on creative work.
Machine sewing is one of many tools we use. Students explore hand sewing, machine sewing, embroidery, crochet, pattern making, construction, and textile techniques while developing design thinking, problem-solving, and creative independence.
Through our Dual Hands Learning approach, students actively use both hands throughout the creative process — measuring, cutting, threading, stitching, constructing, and creating.
Learn sewing → understand construction → develop design skills → create original projects → progress into Fashion Design.

Why Don’t We Offer Free Trial Classes?
Our Design & Sewing Academy is an immersive program focused on long-term creative development. One class cannot show the full learning experience or the progression that happens as students build skills, confidence, and creative independence over time.
We recommend giving your child at least one month to experience the program and begin developing their skills.
Looking for a short-term program? Our Love Sewing for Kids program offers a shorter introduction focused primarily on sewing machine skills and creative sewing projects.
