Our Fashion Design & Portfolio class for high school students and teens in Schaumburg is designed for young creatives who want to develop stronger fashion design skills and build a portfolio for college and their creative future.
What Students Will Learn
- Fashion Drawing & Illustration — develop hand-drawing skills through fashion figure drawing, body proportions, clothing design, and illustrating original ideas.
- Design Development — learn how to develop an initial idea into a thoughtful, original fashion design through sketches, exploration, and refinement.
- Pattern Making & Garment Construction — develop patterns and transform original designs into finished garments.
- Advanced Sewing Techniques — build stronger technical skills and professional-quality construction.
- Portfolio Development — select and present sketches, design process, and finished garments to build a strong fashion design portfolio.
