Sewing improves a child's general development

In our Sewing program, both hands are involved, which stimulates both brain hemispheres and accelerates the general child's development.

Our sewing program is designed so that both hands are equally involved in the work process, stimulating both brain hemispheres equally. Students are put in a situation where they have to monitor several things simultaneously, such as the speed of the sewing machine, seam performance, layers, and pleads….which is excellent for developing the ability to multi-task and not lose focus.
Students work with many layers, and the 2D pattern is turned into a 3D design, which is an excellent exercise for developing spacious thinking.
Also, by learning how to control the pedal of the sewing machine and its speed, we are sure that this will make them excellent drivers one day.
In addition, the execution of each project requires a lot of patience and practice.

What else do we teach students in our Sewing Class?

In this class, students will learn essential machine operation and sewing techniques, including sewing machine maintenance, treating top and bottom, keeping track of multiple tasks, like controlling the speed, layering, seam performance, and helping and keeping our fingers simultaneously. Our list of projects is very long and often is based on students' interests and likings, such as pillows, bags, teddy bears, and stuffed animals, all season themed.

Who is teaching our Sewing Class for Kids?

For 13 years, Mrs. A is developing hundreds of talents each year in our Sewing and Fashion Design Classes programs.

For 13 years Mrs. a is teaching our sewing program for kids

As you probably know, she grew up in a tailor family and was exposed to garment designing and finishing from a very young age.
The first thing Mrs. A is teaching her students is that sewing is harmony, patience, and a positive attitude; the slower the speed is, the better, and we work for quality, not to be in the first place.
Her main goal is - for students to understand the concept and principles of sewing and designing.
