Sewing Class - what are the benefits for your child?

✅Students Learn to Sew

✅Boost Problem-solving Skills

✅Improve the Ability to Focus

✅Both Hands are Involved

✅Sharp the Eye for Details

Sewing improves a child's general development.

In our Sewing program, both hands are involved, which stimulates both brain hemispheres and accelerates the general child's development.

In our sewing program, both hands are equally engaged in the work, stimulating both brain hemispheres.

Students learn to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as controlling the sewing machine speed, seam performance, layers, and pleats, enhancing multitasking ability and attention span.

Working with multiple layers and transforming a 2D pattern into a 3D design fosters spacious thinking.

Mastering the sewing machine pedal control and speed is a valuable skill that may benefit them in driving in the future.

Furthermore, the execution of each project demands patience and practice.

What else do we teach students in our Sewing Class?

In this class, students will learn essential machine operation and sewing techniques, including sewing machine maintenance, treating top and bottom, keeping track of multiple tasks, like controlling the speed, layering, seam performance, and helping and keeping our fingers simultaneously. Our list of projects is very long and often is based on students' interests and likings, such as pillows, bags, teddy bears, and stuffed animals, all season themed.

we have many ptojects in our sewing class

Who is teaching our Sewing Class for Kids?

Mrs. A was raised in a family of tailors and gained early exposure to garment design and finishing. She emphasizes to her students that sewing requires harmony, patience, and a positive attitude.
